Andrew Marvell's "To His Coy Mistress"

For Wednesday, 11/4/09, read Marvell's poem, "To His Coy Mistress" in the Bedford Anthology(the big thick book). Read the background information starting on the bottom of page 842. Then read the poem several times for understanding. When you finish reading jot down some ideas for questions 1-3 on the bottom of 844.

Be prepared for a quiz (on Wednesday) and discussion on Friday. I recommend that you look back in your notes on reading poetry. Post any questions you may have here.
